Yemen looks forward within the next phase to the cooperation of the new leaderships and the political parties so as to take the country into safe areas in order to achieve the Yemeni people's aspirations for security, stability and decent life.
It is important that the political opponents should go beyond their divisions and fragmentation that affect life normalization of in the country, so as to give President Hadi a chance to address the huge number of crisis that are created by the last year's crisis.
The principal of objecting to decisions issued by Hadi for the restoration of political and social order is not acceptable, fruthermore the rebellion of some military and civilian leaderships against these dicisions under weak pretexts is not acceptable as well. It is not wise to summon the UN envoy to the country each time to convince the rebels against Hadi's legitimacy and to pressurize them with international sanctions to hand over the posts that they had monopolized for a quarter of a century.
Yemen is in need of a new vision for achieving real national reconciliation between its citizens for brighter future. The political, social, tribal and military forces have to give the President ample time to deal with the accumulating fatal heritage due to mistakes left over by the former regime and its head, Saleh.
Although a political movement is important for forming the preparation committee for national dialogue, scheduled to be held in next May for addressing the political situation, however it is also appropriate to take action to address the security file, which is disrupting life in the country and paralyzing the government's ability for better re-normalization.
The army and security splitting up remains to be a ticking bomb that should be defused. It needs the wisdom of the Yemenis in all their spectrum to seek the best ways for keeping those two institutions away from the political disputes, so that they devote themselves to dealing with the security disarray that is facing the country.
The most that Yemen needs is the rebuilding of the declining economy that remained morbid since the latest events and before them. It is time now to stop frivolity with public wealth as it used to happen in the past, and the government should focus on draining corruption sources, so as to prevent repeating the model that is followed by the former regime in buying the political and tribal loyalty, so as to continue for longer time in power, causing all these troubles.
The political leadership has to undertake good preparation for the Yemeni Friends' conference that will be held in next May through the presentation of new serious projects to convince the donating countries with their seriousness in taking the country into better stable, secure stages of life. The people have had enough suffering due to frivolity with their wealth for the benefit of a group that continued holding power for a third of a country.
That is why the government has to follow the transparency and openness principle in their reform policy. It should present a model that makes the people trust its ability in leading them to safety. It is important here to point out to the statement of the head of the National Reconciliation Government in which he ordered the Supreme Corruption Combat Committee to start taking actions against all those who had been found to exploit their jobs. This is the first step for building the new Yemen and a better future.
