Terrorism with all its colors and nationalities, whether it is a Marxist stemming from the bases of conflicts of the socialism against the imperialism or whether it is doctrine, tribal or ethnic, doesn't differ in its starting points and objectives. The common factor between them is the kidnapping and the demand of a ransom, whatever its kind might be, is one of the plans of these elements.

The theory of the war on al-Qaeda is a necessity that is dictated by the alphabets of the security of Yemen and the Gulf countries. This makes the need for combating al-Qaeda pockets, an issue that doesn't concerns only one country. The prove is the heavy involvement of America in hunting these elements so as to drain its support sources. That is why they resorted to many devices, especially after the disappearance of many of its effective leaders in Afghanistan, Iraq and Yemen, leading it to adopt the policy of (strike and escape) especially in Yemen, but its force is declining in many countries, depriving it of the chances of establishing bases from where it can start, despite the support of Iran, which agrees with it in the long term objectives though they differ in doctrines.
This confirms that the actions which it carries out seek to achieve political goals. It uses all ways to cause embarrassment to the countries that it is targeting, however the Kingdom has thwarted its plans and there are no means that it could use except the kidnapping and the ineffective actions that are similar to its previous methods.
Yemen is considered to be the weak haven for al-Qaeda spread, and it will not be the field for the return of its strength for several reasons including the capabilities that are not available in it.
