The UN Envoy, Jamal Bin Omar, presented a brightening picture for the human being committed to freedom, justice and human conscience through his great efforts in dealing with political parties and with the Yemeni situation with his insight, wisdom and comprehensive view of the events in one hand. In the other hand, his expedition in achieving understanding between the political forces that represent significant weightiness not to be sneezed at, due to the factors of strength and confrontation these forces have, with which only Yemen could be defeated. The contradiction reached great point and the gap was getting wider day by day, and the Youth in change squares are insiting to complete the revolution and achieve their demands that were the liberation from oppression and tyranny.

The implications threatened a grinding war without leniency due to loss of confidence with the regime that introduced themselves as an elusive delaying their promises for long years. With all these thorny situations, Jamal Bin Omar- with his effective diplomacy and patience- could support the Yemeni people achieve their fair demands in change by making the President sign the GCC Initiative after all political forces were hopeless and excluded the President would sign this Initiative. They could not believe what was happening in the protocol of signing the Initiative in Riyadh because of the President’s procrastination, evasion, and failure for many time only after they saw the president actually signing the GCC Initiative which signature people waited for it for long.

By this, the Yemenis breathed a sigh of relief truly realizing that wheel of change has really started to move forward and that what Jamal Bin Omar has achieved while accomplishing a humanitarian task has borne fruit.

Ppessimistic expectations were no longer there for what was difficult has become easy. Had it not been for Bin Omar’s great great belief in the importance of the agreement between the political parties, the situation would have been as bad as no one might wish and Yemen would have been at risk of a civil war that is difficult to be stopped having further consequences on the peace and stability of the regional and international countries. Today Youth of Change in particular feel that an important part of the demands of their Peaceful Revolution has been achieved by diplomacy, and that they are still in need of more of the UN efforts to remove the remains of the regime and its corruption which cannot be eliminated without eliminating those involved in strengthening it as a culture leading to the deep-rooted backwardness of Yemen.

With much more of hope and determination, legitimate demands are the first to be achieved and Yemen remains in need of Bin Omar’s experience and wisdom who showed a high degree of moral and humanitarian responsibility to bring Yemen to the safe side after great concern and tension.

All of this was due to the combined efforts of the loyal national forces and the weight of the regional countries particularly Saudi Arabia, the European Union and America, who gave widespread support to the GCC Initiative which implementation is monitored and controlled by the partners in the Un House and Bin Omar who created a good impression among the Yemenis by responding to change and understanding the needs of Yemen in such critical condition.

Bin Omar is credited with all this which is an important humanitarian achievement eliminating a war that was almost to be waged.
